EMBO Molecular Medicine recognises the efforts of funding bodies to increase access to the research they fund and we strongly encourage authors to participate in such efforts.The Journal encourages the self-archiving of the accepted version of authors' manuscripts in the repository of either their funding agency, or their own institution six months after publication. This policy complements the policies of the US National Institutes of Health, The Wellcome Trust and other research funding bodies around the world.
